The Nisga'a Nation is looking to get into the aviation business, with a familiar name in the Northwest set to join in with the First Nation community in an aviation agreement.
Word of the soon to be outlined joint venture between Hawkair and Gingolx Enterprise Ltd first came out through a twitter note from Hawkair president Jay Dilley, who took to the social media platform on Friday to give a hint that something was in the works.
Further background on the path ahead came from Gingolx Enterprises President Les Clayton who in an interview with radio station CFNR explained that the company is looking to the new venture to place the organization in a strategic place to take advantage of future development plans in the region.
It's expected that full review of the new joint venture will be outlined by both Hawkair and GEL sometime this week.
