Alaska Marine Highway System releases plans for Summer 2017 schedule

The Alaska Marine Highway has released its summer schedule for
service between Prince Rupert and Ketchikan in 2017

While the issue of much needed repairs to the Alaska Marine Terminal is one topic that sill needs to be resolved between Canada and the United States. The prospects for the summer of 2017 at least offers up some good news for the North Coast, with the AMHS making its final adjustments of the Schedule for the journey of the MV Matanuska.

And while the AMHS continues to address a number of budget issues related to transportation in the state, Prince Rupert will continue to remain one gateway into Alaska next year, with two sailings a week to and from Ketchikan through the Fairview departure and arrivals point.

from May through September offering a connection between
Prince Rupert and Ketchikan Alaska
