Recreation Centre gets ready for Spring Break period with camps and programs

With Family Day weekend now in our rear view mirrors, the next significant moment for family togetherness comes up in March with Spring Break and this year with a focus on remaining close to home, the Prince Rupert Recreation Department is gearing up with a few ideas for parents and their youngsters next month.

The first a return for their popular Spring Break Camps, with two weeks of camps to choose from for the five day a week program that costs $175

The other program of note comes from the Earl Man Aquatic Centre with the City Recreation Department offering a number of programs to guide participants towards a potential position as a lifeguard.

Also on the Recreation Department's Facebook Feed is an invitation to check out the options for physical fitness at the City's Fitness Centre in the mezzanine area of the Earl Mah Aquatic Centre
