The transition from cold temperatures to our more normal wet pacific flow might be a sloppy one from Friday to Saturday, with Environment Canada issuing a FREEZING RAIN Warning for the North Coast for this afternoon and evening.
An Arctic Outflow Warning also remains in effect for North Coast Inland areas.
As the Pacific front currently approaching the region arrives, the surface temperatures are expected to remain below zero and mix with the warmer air aloft, creating conditions for Freezing Rain and Snow into the evening and overnight period.
While coastal areas of the North Coast may not see the conditions last long, the impact on roads further inland into Saturday is something that those planning trips may wish to keep an eye on.

The North Coast will see a significant temperature shift starting tomorrow with the the High on Sunday expected to be at 13 degrees, the warming conditions will continue into late next week.
