January 11th marks the date on the calendar for North Coast residents to participate in a travelling consultation program from the Provincial Government, with the Nisga'a Hall the site chosen for the the Prince Rupert stop on the Poverty Reduction Sessions across the Northwest.
The Prince Rupert Community meeting will take place from Noon until 3:30 in the afternoon on the 11th and offer the chance for residents of the area to share concerns and to discuss what the province needs to do to assist in the goal of a reduction of poverty in British Columbia.
If you can't make it to the Nisga'a Hall gathering, you can also participate through an online forum (see here) or by email, addressing your submission to BCPovertyReduction@gov.bc.ca
