Prince Rupert RCMP seek public assistance in Hay's Cove Petro-Can Break and Enter case

The Prince Rupert detachment of the RCMP is looking for some help from the public on a case file that goes back to July of this year, asking those in the community to review some photos of suspects in a Break and Enter at the Hays Cove Petro-Can.

The incident which took place on July 20th, found two suspects leaving the store on foot carrying what is believed to be cartons of cigarettes.

In a press release from Tuesday, Constable Matt Ericson outlined the nature of the investigation thus far and the desire of investigators to generate new leads into the case.

Making use of surveillance video from the store that features suspects dressed in black and wearing gloves and masks, the RCMP has highlighted some identifying features that may jog the memory of some in the community.
