School District seeks Program assistants for after school Arts and Sports plans

Once school is back in session, School District 52 will be putting together an after school program to provide extra-curricular activities for middle and elementary school students.

As part of the run-up to launching that program, the School District this week put forward a help wanted advertisement, outlining the nature of the program and what the successful candidates for it will bring to the project.

Assistants will be responsible for planning, co-ordinating, implementing and evaluating the plan as it moves forward.

Positions are for work after the school day, with varying hours to a total of fifteen hours per week.

Some background on the requirements for the employment opportunities can be found below:

Applicants should have a Class Five driver's licence, with a Class Four licence preferred. 

As well applicants will require certification, or the willingness to obtain High Five Training and training in Run, Jump, Throw courses.

Successful applicants will be required to provide a Criminal Records Check.

The Salary for the positions is covered under the Collective Agreement between the School District and IUOE Local 882-B.
