Blog Watching, Week ending December 20, 2015
LNG once again proved to be the topic to generate the most interest around the North Coast, with our look at how opponents of the proposed LNG development for Lelu Island took to a range of media options this week to deliver their message.
Prospects for the Port of Prince Rupert also dominated out list of five for the week, with two items related to future Port development catching the attention of the audience this week.
A major development in the local cruise industry also found its way into the news cycle this week, with word of Norwegian Cruise Lines having pencilled in Prince Rupert for port calls in 2017.
With the High School Basketball season now underway, two Northwest schools have gained a bit of notice from the Lower mainland, with both Charles Hays Secondary and Caledonia in Terrace listed in this past week's Top listings in the Vancouver Province, a level of success that our readers were quick to pick up on this week.
However, as it was last week, LNG topped the listings over the last seven days, as opponents to the plans for a Terminal on LNG continued to take their message to the media.
