From the Prince Rupert Rotary Club Auction, to the prep work for Hometown Hockey and the journey of the Jingle Boat Express, the city's merchants and service operators stepped up to lend a hand.
The month also saw Prince Rupert become home for its first commercial cannabis operation as Clarity Cannabis opened on Third West, opportunities to provide for services and goods for the new Pembina LPG Terminal at Watson Island also provided local businesses with a chance to see where they could find success in the future.
November also set the stage for the Holiday Shopping season with promotions, craft fairs and other projects ready to ramp up into December.
By the end of the month, the Chamber of Commerce had also begun to collect the nominations for the annual Business Excellence Awards, with many Rupertites weighing in with their suggestions.

November
Local booksellers will have a North Coast feature to showcase this holiday season, as Muskeg Press introduced volume 2 of the Outsiders Guide to Prince Rupert, which was available exclusively through November at the Seahorse Trading Company and now has wider distribution through Eddies Books as well.
The early part of November brought the annual call for nominations for the Prince Rupert and District Chamber of commerce Business Excellence Awards program.
The highly anticipated Kaien Island Craft Fair arrived in mid November with two days made available for Rupertites to explore the range of talented work that was showcased at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre.
The gift giving for the holidays got a head start over at the Prince Rupert Golf Course this year, as the Club introduced its Advent Calendar for purchase.
Prince Rupert's commercial sector had a chance to join in on the then building excitement over the city's selection as a Hometown Hockey location, with a window dressing competition just one of a number of community initiatives introduced in November.
The long, winding road towards a commercial cannabis sector finally found some success in November, as Clarity Cannabis opened its doors to the community, making for the only success story so far for the City of Prince Rupert's launch of its cannabis process.
Local suppliers and contractors had a chance to learn of some of the opportunities to be coming along as the Pembina LPG terminal nears its start up date, with Pembina hosting a Supplier Open House in November.
The antidote to Black Friday and Cyber Monday came to Prince Rupert on November 29th as the the Prince Rupert Economic Development office and Love Prince Rupert brought back another edition of their Plaid Friday project.
The popular Jingle Boat Express took to the harbour in December on its annual journey in area waters, November made for the preparation and planning for the event, with local businesses and organizations stepping up to hep out.
November also saw one of the key fundraisers for the Prince Rupert Rotary Club take place, with another successful three days of the Annual Rotary Auction.
As the month was coming to an end, Prince Rupert based CityWest introduced their annual 12 Days of Christmas program, with subscribers to the local communication company's services in the running for prizes through the month of December, November also saw the locally owned phone company deliver their annual phone book featuring this years successful contribution for the front cover.
