With what organizers are calling a record number of applications to participate, this years Kaien Island Craft Fair will once again span two days and take up much of the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre complex through to Saturday evening.
The annual showcase of the talents of the North Coast opens the doors at 6PM tonight, featuring a wide variety of handcrafted items made by local and independent artists, designers and crafters.
Opening night tonight runs through to 9PM, with tomorrow making for a full day of shopping ahead with the Saturday showcase set to open at 9 AM until 4PM.
The need for two days and more space has become a required thing over the last few years, with the event one of the most popular and best attended note on the Prince Rupert calendar for a number of years now.

Admission to the event is 2 dollars, Children up to 18 years get in for free as do current members of the Prince Rupert Arts Council.
