After another successful Auction, Rotarians set to switch from auction bells to Christmas Trees for December

With another successful Rotary Auction in the books, Rotarians have tallied up the receipts from their three nights of televised auctioneering, with residents of the Prince Rupert area delivering  65,000 dollars in revenues to go with the 85,000 dollars worth of donations that marked the 55th edition of the popular event.

As we noted yesterday, the final night saw a large number of bargains flying out the door at the Lester Centre, as volunteers took on the role of an Early Santa, travelling across the City to make sure that the successful bidders received their goods.

Wednesday also provided for the final draws for the three night event with the 750 ticket and Grand Prize of 1,000 dollar travel voucher awarded, you can review the winners on the night here.

Up next for the Rotary Club is the annual Christmas Tree Sale and that much anticipated showcase of holiday trees comes up fast, with the first day of sales set for Saturday, December 7th, with sales running until December 22nd or supplies run out.
