Weather Warnings and Watches issued for Travel in North Coast Inland and Bulkley Valley Regions

Weather Warnings and Watches are in place across the
map from Terrace to the Alberta border today


If you have travel plans for tonight or tomorrow for destinations East of Prince Rupert, you should be aware of the latest Warnings from Environment Canada, which this afternoon issued Heavy Rain,  Snow and Freezing Rain Warnings.

The North Coast Inland area has been put on a Warning for Heavy Rain with amounts of up to 70 mm anticipated by early Friday evening, the area of most note for the precipitation is the Stewart region of the Northwest.


Travelling Further east, the Bulkley Valley has had a Freezing Rain Warning issued with the coverage area extending further into the Lakes District, it's expected that the freezing rain will give way to rain towards the evening.

Other areas east of the Burns Lake area are currently under Weather Watches.
