Pacific Coast School to host Inclusion Forum this coming Monday

A discussion on Inclusion and how to provide for the best support for children in the SD52 School system will make for the theme of an information sharing event on Monday, November 25th at the city's Pacific Coast School.

The event which is hosted by SD52 and the District Parent Advisory council is set for the downtown area Ocean Centre school, from 7 to 8:30 PM.

A line up of guest speakers will be on hand to provide information and share experiences as part of the inclusion forum which will be moderated by Carolyn de Ryk of CBC Daybreak North.

Following the presentations, there will be a Question and Answer session, where participants can follow up with inquiries on the themes of the night and seek out more information.

The event is open to all parents children in all grades in the school system. Childcare will also be available for those who may require it.

Those looking for more details on the Information session can contact Joyce Charlton at 250-600-1625 or by email at j.lynn.char@gmail.com

Pacific Coast School is also making some news this week with the introduction of a new logo (see above), which was a collaboration project with students, school staff and parents. The design for the new log came from acclaimed artist Kelli Clifton, who also is a teacher with SD52.
