Equipment and Supplies make for items for RFP's from City of Prince Rupert

A pair of Requests for Proposals from the City of Prince Rupert look to provide a piece of equipment for the Public Works Department; as well as a supply of Lock blocks for the Ridley Island Road landfill site.

The first of the two RFP's issued yesterday was to provide a design, cost "C" estimate, tender and construction support for the installation of a standby generator at Public Works Building B.

The successful proponent will have all required qualifications and professional abilities that offer sufficient skill and capacity to conduct the detailed design with site specific recommendations.

The timeline towards the installation of the unit is as follows



The deadline for bids is Thursday, November 28th at 2 PM

The second of the bids requests from yesterday is for the Prince Rupert Landfill site, with the city seeking the purchase of 300 Lock blocks.

As part of the specifications for the bid, the City is looking for 250 regular size blocks, 25 half size blocks and 25 L shaped blocks.

The successful bidder will have to deliver the blocks to the Landfill site on or before January 31st.

The city is receiving quotes for the project until November 25th.
