Washout along Highway 16 makes for one lane alternating traffic between Prince Rupert and Terrace

 A washout has been reported along Highway 16 between
Prince Rupert and Terrace


A washout along the Highway 16 corridor between Prince Rupert and Terrace has traffic limited to one lane, alternating access at a spot 66 kilometres west of Terrace this afternoon.

Ministry of Transportation crews have responded to the incident which was reported in around 2:30 this afternoon, there is not timeline provided at this point as to when two lane east-west traffic will resume in that region of the highway.
