Officials in Lax Kw'alaams are hoping for a strong turnout for plans in development for the annual community wide and beach area clean up.
Organized by Lax Kw'alaams Public Works the clean up is part of a number of Community activities for the week of April 22 to 26.
The community work will be celebrated on the final day of the week long work on the 26, with a BBQ planned along with the awarding of prizes for those who have helped with the project.
Residents can call to schedule a pick up date and time for some of their materials around their property

Earth Day takes place on April 22nd, the commitment to our environment has been observed on the same date since 1970.
