The scheduled departure of the Northern Expedition for 10 PM Monday evening has been pushed. back to 4 AM on Tuesday morning, that as severe weather had been forecast for Hecate Strait into late Monday evening.
The Service Notice from BC Ferries was issued just before 9PM, with the return trip to Prince Rupert from Skidegate now set for 2PM Tuesday.
A Gale Warning is in place with winds of 40 knots to diminish to 20-30 knots overnight, Seas of 4 metres will subside to 2 metres by the morning
