The Rupert Half Marathon and 8K Road Race comes up this Sunday, the twin events the first for the Rupert Runners 2024 season with Registration for the event set to Close tomorrow.
The local runners club outlined what's ahead for participants through Social media this week, noting of the Package pick up for local residents on Saturday at Cowpuccino's Coffee House.
Out of town participants can pick up their race package the day of the event at the Lester Centre which is the starting point for the day's adventures.
Those that have yet to register can learn more about the event from the Rupert Runners website, you can also Register from that link before Friday's Noon hour deadline .
The Half Marathon start time is set for 9AM, while the 8K event will get underway at 9:30.
For those hitting the roadway, Environment Canada notes that Sunday offers up a mix of sun and cloud, with a chance of showers.
