Minor Hockey season on the North Coast is only a few weeks away and for those that have never played the game before, the Prince Rupert Minor Hockey Association is bringing back a popular program to introduce the game to families around the region.
The Big Assist offers up the chance for New players ages of four to eighteen to register for the 2016-17 season for only a 50 dollar registration fee and 25 dollar jersey deposit.
The online Registration process from the PRMHA website can be found here, taking potential participants through the four steps towards taking to the ice in the fall.

A guide that outlines the different groups for play available through the PRMHA can be found here, with six different levels play for children aged 4 to 17.

The PRMHA also features Girls Only Hockey with weekly ice time to promote skill development in a fun and encouraging atmosphere, that program runs from September to December, registration for the Girls Hockey program is fifty dollars.
