Christmas is fast approaching and Canada Post is ready to do it's best to help would be Santa's to get those presents under the tree and Christmas cards and mailings to their destinations.
By the time the 2012 Christmas season has come to an end, Canada Post expects to deliver up to one billion cards, letter and parcels across Canada.
The busiest day for the Post Office processing plants is expected to land on December 13, while the heaviest of delivery days will be on December 21st.
Once again this year, Canada Post reminds Canadians that they handle those letters for Santa, with a reminder to have them mailed to Santa Claus, North Pole, HOH OHO, letters should be off in the mail by December 17th.
Canada Post also offers up a Santa's Corner to their website, which features a number of extras for the young and young at heart.
For arrival before Christmas, the suggested mailing deadlines for cards is December 18 within BC, December 17th for destinations within Canada.
Parcels can be sent by expedited parcel by December 12th and for those that ship by Xpress Post the parcel should be at the Post Office by December 19th.
