Charles Hays Secondary set to raise the curtain on Legally Blonde

The rehearsals, set construction and costume fittings are all behind them, Thursday night the cast, crew and director will raise the curtain on the latest production from the Charles Hays Secondary Drama department.

The annual launch of a busy December for the Lester Centre will see the Charles Hays Students start a three night run of Legally Blonde: The Musical,  which has seen the comedy revised as a musical for this years presentation.

The yearly production of Charles Hays is one of the most anticipated events on the Prince Rupert Arts calendar, and not just for the battalion of parents that will attend to see how the three months of hard work by their teenagers has turned out.

The Drama Department at Charles Hays (and from PRSS before it) traditionally provides for an enjoyable three nights of entertainment, one which finds large and receptive crowds over the course of the three nights.

Shows that provide a showcase for a large number of talented students from the city's high school.

The students on stage will be joined by a 12 piece band of current and former students who will provide the musical accompaniment to the nights comedic and dramatic stylings.

Show times are 7:30 PM Thursday through Saturday.
