Hawkair issues warning of fraudsters operating
They then go on to solicit credit card information from the resident.
Hawkair advises that they would never make contact in that fashion with their customers or residents of the region and that those who receive such calls should be aware of the scam, and to not give out any personal information from this line of approach
If you have been victimized by the fraudulent callers, to them and to contact their local detachment of the RCMP.
