Heavy Rainfall Warning Issued for North Coast
Rain is coming and seemingly lots of it, early Sunday morning Environment Canada issued a Rainfall Warning for the North Coast, providing notice of the weather system that is on the way.
A very moist Pacific frontal system is about to come ashore, settling over the North Coast tonight and bringing heavy rainfall with it through until Monday afternoon.
Anticipated levels of rain are to reach near 100 mm on the coast and 50 mm for inland regions of the North Coast. Accompanying winds will range between 50 to 70 km/h.
The weather system is expected to move out of the region by Monday evening.
