Port of Prince Rupert to take Annual Public Meeting to a virtual model for 2020

The Cow Bay offices of the Port of Prince Rupert, next month the port
will host their Annual Public Meeting through a virtual on line forum

The times of COVID are making for a rethink on many ways that information is relayed to the public and for the Port of Prince Rupert, the annual gathering of the Annual Public Meeting will have a very different look for 2020, as the Port takes the always highly anticipated update to the virtual world.

The event, which is set for June 10th this year, traditionally provides for a review of the year just ended and a look ahead to many of the port initiatives on the horizon or an update on those currently underway.

If the past years of the public gatherings are a template, Included in the overview will be a look at the financial status for the Port as well as an address for Port President and CEO Shaun Stevenson among other Port officials.
