The Small Business Sweepstakes was designed to give local shoppers a bit of additional incentive to visit local shops in a proper physical distancing manner and then to follow up by posting a photo as to how you are supporting local business, whether it be making a purchase for delivery, ordering take out or posting a positive review of the service they have received.
To participate all you have to do is use the #supportlocalpr hashtag as part of your Social media post to enter, with the first winner of the sweepstakes to be announcedMay 29th.

The Sweepstakes can benefit any business that operates or has a storefront in Prince Rupert, and to Prince Rupert residents who enter via social media.
Each post using the hashtag qualifies the participant for a new entry.
Each week, the organizers will draw for one prize from those who posted using the hashtag.
Prizes will come in the form of $150 gift cards to local businesses, to be purchased by the contest partners. Gift cards will be purchased from the business tagged in the winning post each week.
The program is brought to the community by Tourism Prince Rupert, the Prince Rupert and District Chamber of Commerce and Love Prince Rupert.
