Blog Watching: Week ending August 16, 2020

Municipal Roads and sewers, housing and payrolls all made for themes for three of our five most read items of the week.

A call for contractors for municipal infrastructure in Prince Rupert, some progress for plans for new housing for Kootenay Avenue and a new pay structure for councillors in Kitimat all provided for items of interest by the time Friday had arrived.

The work of Skeena MLA Ellis Ross at the legislature also captured a fair bit of attention this week, as he continued to explore notes of interest on energy for the region.

Also of notice for our readers, a pair of traffic incidents on Highway 16 that shut down the highway for hours on two separate days this week.

However, when it came to the most read item of the last week, it was a call for contractors with an interest in municipal infratsructure planning that captured the most notice.
