SD52 start for school set for September 10th

School District 52 has rolled out its introduction of what's ahead for the start of school in September, releasing the start dates and times for all elementary schools, as well as for Prince Rupert Middle School, Charles Hays Secondary School and Pacific Coast school.

All elementary school students return to class on Thursday September 10th with individual schools reaching out to those students as to start dates and time, with SD52 directing parents and guardians to each schools website.

Prince Rupert Middle School will see a staggered start to the year, with Grade Six students reporting on September 10th at Noon, while Grade Seven Students return on the 11th at Noon, Grade Eight students also return on the 11th at 3PM.

Pacific Coast School students report to their Ocean Centre classrooms on September 10th at 10AM

Students of Charles Hays Secondary will be contacted by School officials with further details as to the program in place and when to report to the Prince Rupert Boulevard campus.

Hartley Bay School opens on September 10th, with Classes to resume on September 14

The details of the return to class coming by way of an information poster on the SD52 website and Social Media feeds.

The School District is also providing some information for new residents of the community who may be exploring where they are to send their elementary age children.

The full scope of the return to school program has yet to be delivered by School District officials, that as they continue to work with the Ministry of Education and local teachers and staff on the way forward for Prince Rupert students this school year.
