Nisga'a Nation ready to welcome visitors with new tourism portal

After two years of COVID and reduced or eliminated interactions with visitors, tourism plans are beginning to percolate across the Northwest this Spring as communities take a tentative step back into the more normal times of welcoming travellers to come explore what the region has to offer.

One area to put a new visual look forward is that of the Nisga'a Nation which has refreshed their online presence with a new look that captures the spirit of the Nass Valley well, with the Discover Nisga'a website providing a detailed look at what can be found once you take to the Nass Highway and chart your path northward.

Launched earlier this year, the online guide explores themes of regenerative Tourism, while highlighting the cultural and natural elements that make the Nass Valley a special part of the Northwest tourism experience.

The guide to travel into the Nisga'a Nation also notes of the limitations of some services that visitors may not anticipate; as well as to outline some of the responsibilities of visitors to the communities of the Nass, asking visitors to take the Nisga'a pledge

You can learn more about travels into the Nass Valley from the Discover Nisga'a website here.
