City of Prince Rupert looks to staff Bylaw Control Officer position

 


The hiring  board at City Hall has a new entry this week, with the City having posted a new job opportunity on Friday that seeks the services of a Bylaw Control Officer.

The full time position pays 33.07 an hour and has a flexible working hour option for the 7.5 hours per day and is part of the city's CUPE local.

The Bylaw office has been somewhat of a conversation topic for City Council in recent months as the members note of some areas where enforcement has been lacking recently, some expressing a desire to see more active application of the city's bylaws.
