An opportunity to access some funding towards some neighbourhood improvements or services is being relayed through Community Futures of the Pacific Northwest, which is currently promoting the Neighbourhood Small Grant program in the region.
The focus for the initiative is to help move forward projects that will bring communities together, build strength and resilience or tackle social isolation.
The program provides a grant of up to $500 for successful applicants in Prince Rupert, Port Edward and surrounding communities.
The first intake for 2022 is currently underway and the application period closes on April 30th, projects that are approved for funding must be completed by November 30th of this year.
