Back from a near ten day break from blogging, our first day on the beat offered a chance to get caught up on, or introduce fifteen new stories for the week.
Five of which captured some quick attention bringing strong readership numbers for a short week of items for review.
As it was our first chance to catch up on the April 11th Council session, many of the features focused on some City Council themes.
Those that resonated the most with the readers was our look at a report for Council on Major projects that noted some concerns of staff on the new Urbaloo washroom at the Eat Street project.
The City's plans to release some of its land holdings for housing and a proposed child care centre also gained some strong interest from readers.
The New Seal Cove Salt Marsh had its Grand Opening this weekend and our sneak preview of the site was well received by readers.
The next major waterfront terminal development for Ridley Island could be a step closer, that after Provincial approval through an Environmental Certificate was received by VOPAK Canada.
