We got us a convoy! Prince Rupert emergency service workers celebrate the retirement of PRRH nurse Sue Sullican on Thursday |
How in a time of Social Distancing do co-workers celebrate a milestone such as the retirement of long serving member of the city's front line workers in the Health care field?
Well in Prince Rupert, it's time for a Parade.
Thursday afternoon saw a large contingent of the city's Police, Fire, Ambulance and Nursing staff at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital take advantage of 99 cent a litre gas, by holding a parade for retiring nurse Sue Sullivan.
April 30th was the last day of employment with the Hospital after 31 years of service in the community for Mrs. Sullivan and a large convoy of well wishers brought the retirement party to the streets of the city's east side to wish her well.
The Prince Rupert Fire/Rescue Facebook page takes us to the parade route with some dandy physical distancing seats!
