The City of Prince Rupert has taken another step in their COVID-19 response program, announcing today that all public-facing facilities will close as of 4:30 today.
Included on the closure list are City Hall, the Fire Department Customer Service area, Recreation Facilities, and our Public Works yard.
The City further advises that those who need to contact City staff should call (250) 627 0960 to arrange an appointment with staff, if required. Though they should note that availability for in-person meetings may be limited.
The advisory also reassures the public that Emergency services, including fire and police are not affected by this closure.
One facility that has already closed is the Prince Rupert Library, which issued this advisory to the public.
