Smoothing out the rough spots at the Prince Rupert Yacht Club

Another stage of the rebuild of the Prince Rupert Yacht Club took place
this past week with the paving of the parking lot

Some sunny days have allowed for a bit more progress on the work at the Prince Rupert Yacht Club, as Adventure Paving took advantage of the more helpful weather to lay some blacktop down in the parking area of the George Hills Way facility.

The parking lot had remained in roughed out shape ever since the major rebuild of the Yacht Club wrapped up last year,.

That project provided for a much anticipated showcase for the local boating and rowing community, the plans were first unveiled in the Spring of 2016, with the majority of the work on the new building taking place in late 2017 and much of 2018.

The new and what was left of the old back in 2018 as the new
Yacht Club neared completion on the waterfront

We traced the timeline of the project back in 2018 when the new beacon on the waterfront was nearing the completion of its exterior, since then much of the work has been internal with this weeks paving of the parking lot the latest step in the work.
