Carnival times to make a comeback in Prince Rupert this weekend

The parking lot of the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre complex
will look a little different come tomorrow afternoon, with
the Shooting Stars Carnival ready to roll into town for the weekend

After an absence of a couple of years now, the thrill of the midway and other carnival attractions will soon make a return to Prince Rupert, with the City of Prince Rupert recreation department announcing that Shooting Stars Amusements will be in town this coming weekend.

The British Columbia based mobile amusement park, has a wide array of items to explore on their website, included on the list a number of familiar midway attractions and some new themes for young and old alike to explore.

The travelling midway arrives for set up on the 18th, with the Civic Centre parking lot closed for public use until the 22nd.

The Midway opens at 3PM on Thursday, August 19th, with the last rides of the weekend set for late afternoon on Sunday, the 22nd.
