CityWest introduces itself to Vanderhoof area in anticipation of start of service to region

While much of the focus in recent weeks has been on the CityWest plans for Vancouver Island and other coastal locations, last week saw the Prince Rupert based communication company host an event in Vanderhoof, the point on the CityWest compass that marks the most eastern location where they will be providing services.

Through their Social media page, CityWest provided some snapshots of a BBQ event where they met with residents and businesses owners and employees from around the Vanderhoof area..

CityWest noted as part of the event that they are looking forward to providing the region with CityWest services soon. The move into the Nechako region came with the purchase of Evolve Communications last year.

The company first noted their interest in Vanderhoof in September of 2020, closing the acquisition in December of that year.

The purchase of Evolve Communications last year pushed the CityWest
footprint across Northwest BC into the Nechako region.
