The City of Prince Rupert is currently taking applications for a pair of positions recently posted to their website jobs listings.
The first career opportunity is in the Finance Department, with the city seeking the services of someone to help ensure that the 250 civic employees get paid on time, that through the Payroll Coordinator post, listed as at 20-25 hours per week.

The city recently concluded its labour negotiations with CUPE, though few details of the contract have been released by City staff. The deal is in effect for a four year term.
