Seafest 2023 is fast approaching and towards helping with the planning, Organizers of Prince Rupert's annual festival are asking of some advance planning of participants for the range of events schedule for the three days of Community Fun set for June 9-11.
Earlier this month they put out a call for sign ups for a number of the popular events, which include the Quick and Daring, Business Window/ Store Decorating contest, Kid Colouring contest, as well as the Volleyball and 3 on 3 Basketball Events.

The Prince Rupert Special Events Social Media stream is providing updates towards the Seafest planning, with some new features for 2023 making an appearance including a Movie night and Canoe Race among them.
For those looking to host a Seafest Event, the deadline is coming up to put your idea forward with Seafest Organizers, with May 20th the deadline to share your plan with organizers.
While they want participants for the events to sign up, Special Events is also looking for volunteers to keep the three days of Seafest rolling along.
