A temporary break for the Friendship House Transportation service to Terrace gained some significant interest as did our look at the April Fire Service report from the PRFD.
From the weeks review the item which generated the most interest, was the leasing plans ahead for the Canadian Fish Company plant on George Hills Way.

Apartment. building proposal for Frederick and Hays Cove to be revealed at tonight's Council Session -- What could one more piece towards some relief to the current rental crunch in Prince Rupert was noted on the City Council Agenda on Monday, however we may have been a tad overconfident in our preview when it came to the 'reveal' part of the plans. That as the Variance request was accepted and moved forward without any comment from anyone on Council. (posted May 8, 2023)
North Coast MLA Jennifer Rice enters the nail polish fray at SD52 -- Word of a classroom incident which saw a SD52 teacher remove a students nail polish made to to the BC Legislature this week. In the Chamber, North Coast MLA Jennifer Rice recounted the details for the members of the Legislature and then shared her support and the support of a number of MLA's for the student. April Fire/Rescue report outlines pace of response last. month by PRFD -- One segment of Monday's Council session that gained some attention fro our readers was our look at Fire Chief Jeff Beckwith's Report for April on the calls for assistance for the Department. As part of the Council session, the Chief also responded to some questions from Councillor Teri Forster towards how the PRFD conducts its employee application process. (posted May 8, 2023)
