Prince Rupert Victim Services hosting Luncheon Thursday at Highliner Plaza Hotel

Across Canada communities are observing a week put aside to raise awareness about the issues facing victims of crime and to note of the services, assistance and laws in place towards help  victims and their families.

For the North Coast Prince Rupert RCMP Victims Services is hosting a luncheon tomorrow at the Highliner Plaza Hotel, the two hour event fro for 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM in the Tsimshian Ballroom.

As part of the Thursday luncheon, local leaders will be sharing their 'The Power is Now" stories and observations.

Also on the agenda for Prince Rupert this week is a Public Swim on Saturday at the Earl Mah Aquatic Centre from 2 until 4PM


Victims and Survivors of Crime Week started on May 14 and will wrap up on the 20th.
