BC Hydro's Fulton Street work underway, bringing traffic restrictions

Flagging Personnel are controlling the flow of traffic around the
BC Hydro work taking place along the 300-500 block of Fulton Street

Work began on Tuesday for BC Hydro for their current Prince Rupert infrastructure project along one of the city's main corridors to the downtown area.

Th. prep work along Fulton Street took place on Monday and on Tuesday morning the location became a live construction site, with the travel reduced to one lane and flag persons directing the alternating  flow through the day.

The project is one of a number of works for the city which we made note of in June, this first piece takes place from the 300 to 500 block of Fulton the work which will take place 24 hours a day is anticipated to continue through into August.

Last Week the City of Prince Rupert provided an update on the BC Hydro plans.
