An outdoor makeover is in the future for the Earl Mah Aquatic Centre |
The City of Prince Rupert has some work planned for the Earl Mah Aquatic Centre, with a recent BC Bid call for services noting of the plans for installation of new cladding at the city's swimming pool, as well as some window work.
The work on the envelope of the building on McBride Street has the city seeking a more durable substance towards a solution for the city's recreation facility.

In the Summary of the project its noted that the work is the first phase of staged plan to recall the whole exterior of the Aquatic and Civic Centre Buildings.

The City has scheduled an information session at the Aquatic Centre for interested proponent son July 25th.
The schedule towards the Call for proposals to completion spans just short of a year.
The Deadline for proponents to respond for the Call for Bids, is set for 2PM August 3rd, the timeline towards completion of work would have the project wrapped up in the Spring of 2024.
