Heat Warning in place for Terrace, Kitimat inland regions as temperatures set to soar to 30 plus

The Heat is on for a swath of the North Coast Inland region including
Terrace and Kitimat this week

While Prince Rupert residents await the sun to burn off some of the lingering cloud and mist, ninety minutes inland residents of the Terrace/Kitimat region are getting ready for an extended period of potentially dangerous heat for some.

For those that may be including a trip to Lakelse Lake or some shopping in Terrace over the next week, the need to be prepared for extrement heat is something to keep in mind as you pack everyone into the car or truck.

Environment Canada issued a Heat Advisory for the North Coast Inland on Tuesday evening, noting of at least five days ahead for temperatures near or over 30 degrees.
