Revenues on par with 2022 at Cow Bay Marina so far this year

A glimpse at Cow Bay Floats from last week

The bounce back for the Cow Bay Marina is anticipated to be a good one this summer for the Cow Bay Marina, that as more and more tourists return to familiar travels up and down the coast during the peak tourism season until September.

While it seems that there are more of the itinerant yachts these days at the Cow Bay facility, the most recent financial account from CFO Corinne Bomben indicates that the revenue stream for 2023 is only a bit above that of 2022 as of the end of April

Ms. Bomben's report was delivered as part of the Consent Agenda at the June 26th Council session and showed revenues of $86,090 to the end of April, compared to $82,459 one year ago.

As of April the City had recorded $149,925 in expenditures, spending close to 20,000 dollars more towards the Cow Bay Facility compared to 2022.

The anticipated 2023 revenues for the Cow Bay Marina are estimated to come in at around 413,000 dollars, residents will have a better idea if the City came close to that mark later this fall when the August and September financial results are reported.
