Tourism staff to become tourists today, as Visitors Centre closes at Noon

Tourism Prince Rupert's Visitor Centre will close
at Noon today for some staff training

It's a half day of giving directions and advice to visitors to Prince Rupert for the staff of the Tourism Prince Rupert kiosk on the promenade of the Lax Süülda Container marketplace.

The staffers are taking the rest of the day for some training and a chance to explore some of the attractions that they are sending visitors off to discover.

The Centre returns to their regular hours of operation on Friday.

More notes on Tourism on the North Coast can be reviewed here.

  1. Prince Rumuor is that the PIC/Visitors centre is far behind original June schedule for re-opening. Contractor was apparently telling passerbys that September at the earliest now… are you able to get comment on record?

    1. More than able ... we did that back on June 28th when the PRPA confirmed the delays and Tourism Prince Rupert noted they would be in the kiosk on the promenade until September ...
