Prince Rupert RCMP updates the Case File on Sunday's waterfront fire

The location of Sunday's massive waterfront fire which consumed
the long since unused CN Roundhouse/Maintenance shops


The Prince Rupert RCMP has provided their first official statement related to Sunday's fire which consumed the CN Roundhouse/Maintenance building on the city's waterfront.

The information release outlines the nature of their work in the investigation which resulted in the arrest of a suspect.

The youth has since been released with a document compelling the to court at a later date.

As well, as the Prince Rupert members continue on with their investigation in the fire which has been deemed an arson, they are calling on the public to contact the local detachment if they noticed anything suspicious in the area previous to, or during the fire, or if they have any information related to the incident.
