The home of Recycling on the North Coast is going to get a new lid, with North Coast Regional District putting forward a call for proposals through the BC Bid website.
The scope of the job involves the removal of the existing ruin panels, gutters and fascial, removal of any rotten or damaged wood and then the installation of new metal roofing.
The work is to be achieved with a nineteen week timeline, with the Regional District deadline for the project to be substantially completed by September 30th.
The full bid package along with drawings of the roofing structure can be explored through the BC Bid website.
Some of the Regional District spending plan on capital projects, including the Recycling Centre on Kaien Road were approved in January.
