City of Prince Rupert seeks out some engineering help for the Operations Department

 

The City of Prince Rupert recently posted two job opportunities
for the city's Operations Department

The latest hiring call for the City of Prince Rupert's Operations department is to seek out the services of Two Engineering Technologists, the positions posted to the City's Employment listings earlier this week.

With a growing list of infrastructure work ahead for the community, the twin positions will make for part of the civic team that keeps watch over the progress of those inviaitives.


The posts come with a salary of $37.57 per hour, more depending on additional accreditation, the successful candidates will be member of CUPE Local 105.

According to the city the positions will remain open until filled.

There is a full list of what's required for the posts, as well as what the scope of the work will be for those who make the grade with Human Resources department.

  1. Why don't we hire an engineering firm to help out. Getting a CET a couple of years out of school doesn't address the knowledge, skills and abilities required to manage this city in it's current condition.
    Planners at the top don't necessarily have the background required to manage the amount of work!
