Mr. Armstrong noting how the organizers hope to tap into the volume of knowledge and opinion in the community on big theme items for discussion.
The First instalment of the program comes next week on Thursday, October 26th when the theme of Food Security will be the subject that four contributors will share their thoughts on.
The format that the four speakers and the audience will follow, will see each participant allowed an opening 10-minute solo presentation, and after a short intermission, they will all take part in a question-and-answer session with the audience.
The evening's talking point is: “Be it resolved that Prince Rupert can be self-sustaining with its local food supply.”
The October 26th Thought Exchange wil take place at 7PM, admission is by donation to the SD52 Breakfast program
As to the plans beyond October, Lester Centre GM Chris Armstrong outlined how they view the program moving forward.
