Prince Rupert riders cycle into Go By Bike Week

The 11 riders registered in Prince Rupert for the Fall version of Go By Bike Week are being propelled by some gusty winds this midweek period of the annual event, well providing they are heading in the direction of the prevailing winds that is.

The event hosted by Change Makers Education Society is designed to get people to use pedal power for a week with hopes it becomes part of their annual routine.

The participation rate from earlier this week shows that 7 new riders had signed up for the fall event.

They are part of a group of 11 that signed up locally,. making for some of the 6,435 riders participating across BC this fall.

Those participating and tracking their efforts this week are eligible for the draw for a Ebike of all the national riders, that comes at the end of the fall program on October 29th.

Some notes on how you can participate are explained here and you can contact Change Makers Education Society at 250-627-4100 for more info on the local scene.
